Extend the legs on the frame and stand it upright.

each tube array rests at one end on the steel rod running through the middle of the frame. It's hard to see in this fuzzy photo, but the arrays overlap each other as they share the steel rod. As long as both tube arrays rest generally in the center area inside the frame it is OK. It's easiest to insert the tube arrays one by one from underneath.

To insert a tube array, rest one end on the frame rod escribed in the last photo and then, coming from below, thread the extending bolt through the "keyhole" up, over and down to its secure resting spot.

insert the bars between the thicker bottom cord and the thinner top cord. Start with the highest "G" bar, making sure the grooves on the bottom of the bar fit onto the lower cord. pull the top cord snug, but not too tight. Repeat on down the scale to the low G (leaving out the F# and Bb bars, which can replace the F and B bars). Adjust/loosen the top thin cord as necessary to accomodate all the bars, and remove all slack from the top cord when all bars are inserted, making sure to leave enough looseness for the bars to vibrate - not  too tight, not too loose.

Slide the knots back or forth on the straight portion of the cord to tighten or loosen the top cord.
